A biotech demonstration park is built in Xigaze City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. As the city's biotech demonstration park project, it covers an area of more than 133,333 m², and focuses on the production, processing and sales of edible fungi, which is able to strengthen local industrial transformation and development, as well as boost target poverty alleviation. At present, the park daily produces 10,000 edible mushroom bags and 200-300 kg of mushrooms, including 19 kinds of edible mushroom, such as shiitake mushroom, oyster mushroom and coprinus comatus. In addition, the project has successfully completed its research on lucid ganoderma planting technology, which will be put into production after reconstruction and expansion of the park. At that time, it will bring greater economic benefits to local and help poor farmers get more benefits.
