Tsedrup Monastery is located on Mt. Tsedrup in Tengchen County of Tibet’s Chamdo City, about 37 km away from the downtown area of the county.

“Tsedrup” means “six peaks” in Tibetan. The Tsedrup Monastery, stands among jagged rocks of grotesque shapes, is one of the oldest monasteries of Bonism. As an important place of studying the ancient Tibetan Gyungdrung Bonism, Tsedrup Monastery stands away from the secular society and has been keeping the pure atmosphere of dharma.
