Tsering Phuntsog has lived in Ruxi Village of Karub District, Qamdo City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region for 50 years, and felt that more and more good things have happened in these years.

In 2015, Ruxi Village began the construction of seedling nursery. He rented his mountain land of 18,667㎡ to Qamdo Forestry Co., Ltd. at the price of 1.5 yuan RMB/㎡ every year, with an annual land rent of 28,000 yuan RMB without working out.

In recent years, Bureau of Forestry and Grassland of Qamdo has focused on seedling nursery construction, innovated the construction mode, and increased the masses' income through renting their land, driving them to participate in the construction, carrying out technical training on growing seedlings, etc.

Forestry Bureau of Karub District distributes 50 poplars or willows to villagers to plant along the village road every year. There are 5 people in Tsering Phuntsog's family, each of them manages 10 seedlings.

"It's cold now, so we should keep seedlings warm to prevent frostbite. These seedlings not only beautify our living environment, but also increase my income," says Tsering Phuntsog confirmedly.
