Tibet’s non-public economy maintains good development momentum

In the first half of this year, Tibet has constantly strengthened the leadership on non-public economic organizations, implemented preferential and supportive policies, and optimized development environment. Therefore, the non-public economy of Tibet Autonomous Region maintains good development momentum.

Statistics show that by the end of June, the number of non-public economic market entities in Tibet has reached 249,200, accounting for 96.24% of the total market entities. Registered capital has reached 7.32371 billion yuan, with 1.226 million employees. Private investment has increased by 22.9% year-on-year.

"Leading group for non-public economy work is established in Tibet, deepening the internal understanding of private enterprises on non-public economic development, private investment and investment promotion. In view of problems reflected by private enterprises, strong policy measures and strict assessment methods are formulated, further promoting the sustained and healthy development of non-public economy," a responsible person of Federation of Industry and Commerce of Tibet Autonomous Region says.

In addition, targeted poverty alleviation activities are also carried out, encouraging non-public enterprises to recruit college graduates. According to the statistics, in the first half year, more than 20,000 jobs are provided by non-public enterprises, and 481 college graduates are employed through the talent market.
