This year, the number of tourists in November increased by 23,300, with a tourism revenue growth of 128,000 yuan RMB compared with the previous year.

Tibet has implemented a series of preferential policies, such as free entrance tickets to the Potala Palace and the promotion conference of "Winter Tour to Tibet, sharing the third pole of the earth". In 2017, "Winter Tour to Tibet" activity attracted 1.01 million tourists. In 2018, its number of tourists increased to 1.18 million. This year, the third round of "Winter Tour to Tibet" is expected to see another growth in the number of tourists and tourism revenue.

Lhasa Tourism Development Bureau will carry out tour market promotion activities in Xi'an, Beijing, Suzhou and Shenzhen in the middle of December. Through the photography exhibition, art performance and various activities, Tibet's tourism will be more popular among people outside Tibet.
