Kham mandarin oranges help Markam people become rich

In recent years, relying on transportation and environment advantages, Markam County of Qamdo City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, has widely planted Kham mandarin oranges in Qucainka, Naxi, Mogxoi and other towns, accelerating the pace of local peopleto get rich. At present, planting areas of the mandarin oranges in the whole county reach 2.301 km², with an average yield of 1,000 kg per mu, which increases the income of 3,570 people from 725 households, with an average annual increase of 38,000 yuan RMB each household.
