With an altitude of 4,800 meters, Sangsang Wetland is located in Sangsang Town, Ngangring County, Xigaze City of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, occupying an area of 99 million square meters. There are black-necked cranes, bar-headed geese, wild ducks and brown-headed gulls in the wetland. Near the No. 349 national highway, the wetland attracts tourists to stop and take photos.

In order to reduce human intrusion, a 200-meter-long walkway along the wetland has been built, which not only lets tourists enjoy the beauty of wetland, but also protects grass in the wetland from being tramped.
