In order to celebrate the upcoming Tibetan New Year, cultural departments at all levels in Shannan City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, have innovated various forms of cultural activities, integrated superior resources, created a variety of cultural and artistic activities, which have provided rich cultural nourishment with a festive atmosphere for the masses.

Centering on deepening the cultural projects benefiting the people, Shannan has innovated "propaganda + literature" mode, incorporated the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, excellent traditional Chinese culture and other contents into its crosstalk, sketches, songs and dances, prize contests and other cultural activities, to enrich people's cultural life.

During the Tibetan New Year, public places in Shannan City are normally open, and a series of offline and online cultural activities have been launched to continuously promote extensive exchanges and integration among the people. So far, the city has held 50 cultural activities, with 10,000 people participating on-site and 2,500 people participating online, which has continuously promoted the high-quality development of cultural undertakings and cultural industries.
