As the winter comes, tourism entered the low season when the tickets will be half priced. People who have never been to Tibet may think that there will be cold and heavy snow-covered in winter. However, different seasons in Tibet boasts different scenery. 

Currently, there are two kinds of tickets in some scenic spots of China’s Tibet. High season lasting from May 1 to Oct 31sell the high-season ticket. Low season starting from Dec 1 to next Apr 30 sell the low-season ticket which will be half priced. Besides, prices of some hotels also will give a 40 percent or 60 percent discount.

For example, according to the Potala Palace Management Office, starting from Nov 1st, the price of Potala Palace will be 100 yuan. Students with student card and ID card, the disable with a disability certificate, servicemen with a military card, teachers with a teaching certificate and the elderly with senior citizen card can enjoy 50 yuan. Besides, Potala Palace is free to children less than 1.2 meters tall.

Yarlung Tsangpo Canyon: 215 yuan

Nanyigou: 155 yuan

Lake Baksum Tso: 105 yuan

Shoba Castle: 20 yuan

Mt. Qomolangma: 90 yuan
