It is reported from Tourism Development Commission of China's Tibet Autonomous Region ( TAR ) that as the coming of low season in tourism, most of famous scenic spots in TAR implement the half-price tickets.

Starting from Nov. 1st, the tickets of the Potala Palace, Lake Namtso, Yarlung Tsangpo Canyon, Tashihunpo Monastery, Mt. Qomolangma, Nanyigou and other scenic spots are half-price. In addition, some hotels will give a 40 percent or 60 percent discount. The price of round-trip air ticket from Lhasa to Nyingchi dropped to 300 yuan.

Currently, there are two kinds of tickets in some scenic spots of China's Tibet. High season lasting from May 1 to Oct 31sell the high-season ticket. Especially, during July and August, the ticket of Potala Palace is hard to get. Tourists need to book Potala Palace tickets in advance. Besides, tickets to Lhasa by train or by plane are limited. Therefore, tourists have to buy the tickets many days in advance. Accommodation in hotels are expensive, which are in short supply. The Low season starting from Dec 1 to next Apr 30 sell the low-season ticket which will be half-price.
