Heizuan apple, a specialty product in the plateau city of Bayi, Nyingchi Prefecture of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region will debut in the market soon.
Heizuan apple, featuring aubergine color and sweet taste, grows in an orchard base situated at Bayi, Nyingchi Prefecture of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The apple planting area in this base covers more than 400 mu ( about 26.6 hectares).
Nyingchi is located in the middle and lower reaches of Yarlung Zangbo River, southeast of China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Flowing between the NyainQentanglha Range and Himalayas Mountains, the warm wet air of the Indian Ocean makes Nyingchi a fantastic land with Heizuan apple.
The apple trees were planted in this orchard base on 2012. After three years, 20,000 apple trees are harvested on 2015. Enjoying high nutrition, Heizuan apple will be sold on the market soon.
