In 2015, the gold and silverware handicraft has been listed as the city-level intangible cultural heritage of Chamdo City. This national treasure becomes the new impetus for increasing incomes.

Kunsang Gyumey, the originator of Caihong National Handicrafts Co. Limited, registered this company three years ago. The company mainly deals with wine sets, religious ritual implements, clothes and architecture ornaments featuring gold and silverware decorating handicrafts. At present, Caihong National Handicrafs Co. Limited has 18 workers and achieved about 700,000 yuan in annual turnover.
