A few days ago, the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon scenic area in Tibet was temporarily closed to visitors due to continuous rainfall. While after renovation and hidden danger identification, now it begins to receive visitors again.

The Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon is located in Nyingchi City and its whole length is 504 kilometers. With a maximum depth of 6,009 meters, it features a rich variety of unique species and plateau scenery. It is a national 4A tourist attraction.

In recent years, the tourism industry of Nyinchi City is booming. Statistics show that in 2016, it received 4.37 million tourists and the tourism revenue reached 3.9 billion yuan.
