The recording of the 2022 Xizang Losar ((New Year in local language) Gala was completed in Lhasa City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. After several rounds of rehearsals, various programmes were chosen to be on the stage, such as Biru dancing, "Delightful Harvest" from teenagers of Shannan City and some group dancings. This year's Gala was expected to impress audiences with tailored programs and well-designed lighting effects.

“I have been an actor for 15 years. This is my 12th time to play on the Losar Gala that is better and better. I will try my best to do rehearsal in order to extend an excellent performance to citizens,”said Gyatso, an actor of Lhasa Yuanda Migrant Workers Art Group. 

The 2022 Xizang Losar Gala kicked off on Dec. 29 in Lhasa Mass Sports Center. Programmes featuring songs, dances, opera and comic skits showed the development of Lhasa and people's pursuit of happiness. Audiences were attracted to those excellent performances and felt the joy of the new year.
