With a total investment of 70 million yuan, the greening project of the urban area of Shiquanhe Town, Gar County, Ngari Prefecture was started in March, 2017. The green area is over 600,000 square meters and more than 6,0000 trees are planted along 19 roads, at 5 parks and in 40 units. Considering local climate characteristics, the Forestry Bureau of Gar County does the best to protect the trees against the cold so as to consolidate the achievements of urban greening work.
