To further accelerate land greening as well as promote the construction of eco-towns and beautiful villages, recently, Gerze County of Ngari Prefecture has organized over 1500 people to carry out the voluntary tree planting activity.

About 9895 seedlings including Bangong willow, rose willow, sea-buckthorn and so on are planted. Then the local forestry bureau is responsible for watering and setting up fences to ensure trees not be damaged by outside factors.
