To improve the living environment in an all-round way, Tsochen County of Ngari Prefecture has invested 19 million yuan in the construction of the county's municipal solid waste landfill, which was completed and put into use in 2017. It can handle 30 tons of solid waste per day, effectively realizing the garbage classification. In the process of landfill, stratified compaction technology is adopted. After the landfill reaches 0.4 to 0.6 meters, a 30-centimeter thick soil layer will be covered to minimize the environmental pollution caused by garbage.
