The Lalu Wetland National Nature Reserve, northwest of downtown in Lhasa City of southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, is showing a beautiful and unique scene as the weather gets colder recently. Covering an area of more than 12 square kilometers, the reserve is a rare gene bank for species in urban areas of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, according to the report. Lalu wetland was selected as one of the first national wetland tourism demonstration bases in 2017.
