Lhasa's ring road project kicks off

It is reported the 20.43-kilometer-long ring road in Lhasa kicked off on Dec. 21, 2015, which has a significant role in perfecting the region's road traffic and improving its traffic effectiveness.

Che Zala, secretary of the Lhasa municipal committee of the Communist Party of China, launched the Lhasa ring road project commencement ceremony.

After learning more about the project planning and previous preparatory work in detail, he also stressed that they should further optimize scheme and highlight the key point. Speed up construction progress and minimize the cost of investment at the premise of quality assurance.

It is said that Lhasa ring road will be developed into ecological road, green corridor and landscape road, bringing great convenience for people.
