It is reported that 2016 Hiking Mt.Qomolangma & Glacier Photography will begin on April when the activity of climbing Mt. Qomolangma will also start off. As spring comes, the ticket price of Mt. Qomolangma scenic spot will be restored to 180 yuan (27.76 U.S. dollars).

In recent years, basic infrastructures in Mt. Qomolangma scenic spot are being improved continuously. The electricity is available in Mt. Qomolangma Base Camp. Besides, tourist service station has been built in Mt. Qomolangma Base Camp, where provides rescue and accommodation for tourists.

The best time for climbing Mt. Qomolangma is from April to May each year. The Mt. Qomolangma Base Camp is available all year round. With an altitude of 4,980 meters, Rongpo Monastery, the highest temple in the world, is near to Mt. Qomolangma Base Camp. Tourists need to take ID cards and border pass, if they want to go to Mt. Qomolangma Base Camp for a tour.
