Tibet Airlines to open new air routes

It is reported that from Mar. 27 to Oct. 29, the Civil Aviation Administration of Tibet Autonomous Region will follow the 2016 summer and autumn flight schedule. Last season, five airports (Gongga Airport, Bamda Airport, Mainling Airport, Gunsa Airport, Heping Airport) in Tibet operated 417 flights per week.

For further improving air routes and accelerating the construction of three-dimensional traffic system, currently, 5 flight routes (Lhasa-Mianyang-Nanjing, Lhasa-Mianyang-Shenzhen,Lhasa-Changsha-Qingdao, Lhasa-Dazhou-Shenzhen and Lhasa-Xinan-Qingdao) have already been operated. In 2016, more air routes will be added, for instance, Chamdo-Chongqing-Tianjing.

In 2016, the Civil Aviation Administration of Tibet Autonomous Region will still focus on improving public services for Tibet's economy and society, promoting stable development of Tibet's civil aviation.
