Tibet's Swimming Center, located in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, reopened to the public on Apr. 13. The ticket price is still 50 yuan RMB (7.71 U.S. dollars) per person. It opens from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day. In order to improve citizens'enthusiasm for swimming, Tibet's Swimming Center will be free to the public during the specified times on May 1, June 1 and August 8.
After being rebuilt, Tibet's Swimming Center achieved optimization. Non-slip mats are covered around the swimming pool. The temperature of water in swimming pool is warmer than before. Besides, a LED display is added in Tibet's Swimming Center, which can show swimming competitions.
In terms of safety, this swimming center is equipped with HD cameras. What's more, the swimming center has three swimming coaches who also serve as swimming lifeguards during the opening time. There will be more swimming lifeguards employed by the swimming center in the future. The swimming lifeguards will take professional trainings before working.
