Tibet's 1st Tulip Culture Festival to kick off on May

Tibet's 1st Tulip Culture Festival will kick off at "Beauty Tsalna" scenic spot on May 1. On the opening ceremony, there will be various interesting activities such as Tibetan dance show and garden party.

"Beauty Tsalna" scenic spot will charge admission fee from tourists next month, according to Chushur "Beauty Tsalna" Pure Land Travel Ltd. However, it is still free to the public on May 1.

Starting from May 2, each tourist will pay 150 yuan RMB (about 23 U.S. dollars) to enter "Beauty Tsalna", the new national AAA scenic spot. Students with student cards and ID cards can enjoy half price. Besides, "Beauty Tsalna" is free to the elderly with senior citizen cards, servicemen with military cards and children less than 1.2 meters tall.

"Beauty Tsalna" scenic spot is located in Chushur County of Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. It consists of a sightseeing park and a science and technology park, occupying an area of 1,500 mu (one million square meters) in total. This attraction receives about 80,000 visitors ever year. With the pattern of integrating tourism and agriculture, "Beauty Tsalna" will become more famous.
