In recent years, Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, makes great efforts to develop facility agriculture. With the operation of greenhouses, the output of vegetables, fruits and flowers increased greatly. There are various kinds of greenhouses in Lhasa, such as intelligent greenhouses and traditional greenhouses.

In Nam Town of Chushur County, Lhasa of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, greenhouses are run in the form of cooperation. Covering an area of 605 mu(about 40.3 hectares), Chushur Xinsai farmers' specialized cooperative for fruit planting has more than 600 greenhouses. Each greenhouse grows different kinds of fruits such as watermelons, cucumbers and tomatoes.
