With the arrival of the peak tourism season in  Tibet , more and more tourists are coming to Zham (a small border town which lies in the Nyalam County of Shigatse area and adjoins  Nepal)  to purchase ethnic handicrafts. As merchants' turnover is increasing, people in the quake-hit areas are more confident in reconstructing their homes. Zham was once affected by the 8.1-magnitude earthquake in  Nepal  on April 25, 2015.
