On August 9, the press conference of the 14th Qomolangma Culture & Tourism Festival was held in Lhasa.

It is said that this festival will be held from August to September. With the theme of  "magic Qomolangma, auspicious Shigatse", it is planed to kick off on August 25 in the main venue Shigatse. With the aim of exploring Shigatse's cultural resources as well as displaying its historical and cultural charm, a series of characteristic cultural and tourism activities will be held.

At the same time, Shanghai Week will be held on September 11. The indoor drama Gyantse Imprinting is planed to be held on the opening ceremony. In addition, 10 items of activities including Shigatse investment promotion meeting, Tsang expo will also be held to show the unique cultural charm of Shigatse.

The 14th Qomolangma Culture & Tourism Festival is cooperatively held by Shigatse and aid-Tibet provinces. Through the cooperation with Shanghai City, the development of Shigatse's cultural and tourism industry will be further promoted.
