Dagdong Village located in Newu Town of Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, becomes the key development area with culture characteristics in Lhasa.

Dagdong Tourism Mak-er Base has created jobs for about 174 villagers. In addition, adult labor forces in Dagdong Village have been trained in skills and professional quality, which enriches their knowledge structure and increases the competence of employment and entrepreneurship. It is expected that after the opening of Dagdong Tourism Mak-er Base, over 150,000 tourists will come here for a tour, generating over 30 million yuan in revenue.

Dagdong Village mainly builds and develops water system landscape and village architectures. The newly-built Dagdong Village enjoys perfect tourism supporting facilities and comfortable environment.

Currently, Dagdong Village is developing the highland mountain bike lane and happy Tibetan family project that is a cultural tourism item supported by Lhasa Tourism Bureau. Besides, the Research Center of Highland Specialties was funded in Dagdong Village, developing Dagdong's unique products. The tea house beside the lake and rural resort hotel have already been completed.
