Tibet tourism promotion conference was held on Sep. 28 in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. 56 Tibet's most beautiful spots such as Potala Palace, Yumbulagang and Nanyigou were presented at the conference.

Karma Tseten, executive vice-director of Tourism Development Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region, said that Tibet tourism enters into a golden period of development. He also contended that this promotion conference aimed to build a communication and trade platform for local enterprises and traveling salesmen from home and abroad. With communication and collaboration, a new development pattern featuring mutual benefit, resources sharing, win-win market emerges.
