It is reported from Lhasa Travel and Tourism Administration that during the seven-day National Day holiday, Lhasa, capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, received 798,700 tourists, up 16.87 percent year-on-year. The visitors brought 341 million yuan (about 50.64 million U.S. dollars) in tourism revenue, an increase of 20.49 percent over the same period of last yea.
Tourism market in Lhasa is attracted a large number of tourists with its unique highlights of which self-driving tourism is the most popular one. In Lhasa, hotels and some famous attractions received an increasingly number of visitors.
