The hiking in northern slope of Mt. Qomolangma will begin during next April and May. This event will last 13 or 15 days. Trekkers will pass by four of six Mt. Qomolangma base camps and experience the local climate along the climbing route. It will lay a solid foundation for climbing Mt. Qomolangma in the future.

The registration work of 2017 hiking in northern slope of Mt. Qomolangma starts. People without acute and chronic disease can fill in the registration form. The hiking is limited to 25 people. It costs 45,000 yuan (6,528 U.S. dollars).
