It is learned that the 40-day 2017 Spring Festival travel will start on Jan. 13 and end on Feb. 21. According to the train ticket policy (tickets can be bought 30 days in advance), Spring Festival travel tickets go on sale on Dec. 15.

To embrace the upcoming travel rush, special services will be launched in Lhasa Railway Station. More reception desks will be set. Free phones will be offered to meet  the unexpected needs.

What’s more, wheelchairs and stretchers are available for the special passengers to ensure their access to trains. Volunteers will be organized to help passengers with difficulty. Self-service ticket machines will be increased to 8, and staffs will be arranged to help those collecting tickets there.
