According to the Lhasa Tourism Development Committee, during the 2018 Spring Festival and Tibetan New Year period, Lhasa received 255,269 tourists from home and abroad, a year on year increase of 21.82%.

About 110,689 tourists satyed overnight and 144,580 tourists stayed for a one-day tour.

The tourism revenue reached 223 million yuan, a year on year increase of 23.2%.

To attract tourists, many hotels in Lhasa also offered special prices.
