Starting from Feb 1, China's Tibet has launched the initiative of "winter tours in Tibet-enjoy the world's third pole". All A-class tourist attractions open to visitors for free. Besides, preferential policies also covers accommodation and transportation. In February, nearly 471,200 visitors traveled to Tibet, up 63.3 percent from the previous year. Revenues generated by tourism reached 464 million yuan ($73.8 million), with a year-on-year increase of 51.7 percent.
