From January to September, Qamdo received a total of 1.9987 million tourists, up 43.38% from a year earlier.The tourism revenue reached 1.638 billion yuan, up 43.39% year on year.

It is reported that the tourism infrastructure is improving day by day. Up to now, there are 16 A-grade tourist attractions, 13 star-rated hotels, 2 travel agencies, 1 tourist passenger transport company, 1 tourism service company, and 16 "Salie" camps in Qamdo City. The second runway of Bonda Airport has been completed and put into operation. In addition, motor homes experience activity and cultural tourism month activity are held to further enrich the connotation of Qamdo's tourism brands. Travel publicity channels are expanded to constantly improve the influence of tourism brands. Besides, Qamdo City also effectively deepens exchanges and cooperation with important tourist sources and tourism industries, sorting out and designing the development planning.
