The establishment of the competitive cycling team is of great significance to filling the gap of no professional cycling team in Tibet, and is a new starting point for the accelerated development of cycling.“Combined with the characteristics and rules of cycling, relevant work including the selection of athletes and coaches, equipment configuration, professional training, service assurance and so on will be done, so as to cultivate a good cycling team in a relatively short time and strive to develop cycling into a new breakthrough and bright spot in Tibet's competitive sports," said Nyima Tsering, director of the Sports Bureau of Tibet Autonomous Region.
