Since 2014, thirty-two eco-safety barriers have been established in Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The afforestation program of 758.3 thousand mu (50,200 hectares) has been completed. Besides, with a green coverage ratio of 42.55 percent and a green space ratio of 41.95 percent, Nyingchi has a total of 5.32 million square meters of urban green coverage and 5.24 square meters of urban green space.
