The 62-day summer holiday travel rush begins on July 1. According to the Qinghai-Tibet Corp, 978 extra passenger trains will be run to meet the increasing demand during the summer vacation. 

Z6811/2 from Xining to Lhasa and Z9801/2 from Lhasa to Xigaze are still in operation. From July 1 to Aug 31, Z9813 and Z9815 from Xining to Lhasa will be added. From July 2 to September 1, Z9816 from Lhasa to Xining will be run. From July 3 to September 2, Z9814 from Lhasa to Xining will be operated. From June 28 to July 31, Z9803/4 from Lhasa to Nagqu is in operation. K6825 from Xinging to Golmud will be run during the weekends and holidays.
