The first Ningchi "Cailin" Festival was held at the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon from Oct. 15 to 18. "Cailin" means colorful forests. Recently, Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon in Nyingchi City of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region welcomes its most charming autumn season, in which a palette of colors can be seen everywhere.
During the festival, tourists here could try parasailing to get a bird's-eye view of the canyon, which is one of the highlights of this activity. Moreover, there are various art performances for visitors to enjoy the charm of Gongbo culture.
Nyingchi City boasts unique culture and rich tourism resources, such as Lhoba culture, Basum Lake, Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon and Namjagbarwa. While carrying out epidemic prevention and control, workers of Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon scenic spot have launched a series of tourism-themed activities, greatly promoting the recovery of local tourism industry and increasing the farmers and herdsmen's incomes, according to Ren Jun, the deputy director of Tourism Development Bureau of Nyingchi City.
