On the morning of April 9, the second day schedule of the 1st National Ski Mountaineering Championship continued at the Keketohai Ski Resort in Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In the competition, Tseten Yudron from Xizang Autonomous Region played well and won the champion of the women's vertical racing group. Sonam Qudron won the second place and Tashi Tenzin the third place.

In the men's vertical race, 16-year-old Tsewang Dorje won a bronze medal. It was the first medal in his career. He said that as a rookie with less than four months of professional training, the achievement was a windfall for him, and he would continue to work hard to achieve better results.

On the same day, Dekyi Lhazom and Tashi Dekyi from Xizang Autonomous Region won the 7th and 10th place respectively in the women's group. Rejie and Tenzin Chosphel respectively won the 8th and 9th place in the men's group.
