On September 19, the 2018 Chanang Pulu Culture Festival was kicked off. At the opening ceremony, the large-scale live drama "Roaming the Tang-Tibet Ancient Road, Remembering Princess Jincheng" was put on the stage. Combining with local natural environment, history, culture, and customs, the drama shows the profound culture and ancestors' wisdom of Chanang County, especially the prosperity brought about by the Tang-Tibet Ancient Road. Besides, it reproduces the touching story of Princess Jincheng and Trisong Detsen, presenting a visual feast to the audience.

The festival aims to inherit the intangible cultural heritages of Chanang County, display its elegant demeanor, develop the ethnic art, and drive the rapid development of the national handicraft industry and tourism industry.
