On the afternoon of October 10, the Lhasa International Green Film Week was kicked off. Through holding a series of professional cultural discussions, it aims to advocate the concept of green life.
The Lhasa International Green Film Week will last for 4 days. Adhering to the concept of "carrying memory with images and protecting future with lens", a series of activities including movie projection and high-end dialogue forums will be held. In addition, over 40 domestic and foreign green films will be selected and be shown to the public for free in a cinema in Lhasa.
At the closing ceremony, more than 10 celebrities such as Tao Hong, Li Jinming, Shang Wenjie, Miao Miao and so on will be invited to speak for endangered species and ecological environment, letting more people know the living conditions of wildlife, calling on the public to boycott the consumption of wildlife products, and encouraging green filmmakers to continue to protect the future with the lens and take practical actions to participate in green public welfare.
