In recent years, to excavate the development potential of cultural tourism, accelerate its innovative development, transformation and upgrading, as well as the improvement of quality and efficiency, and push forward the construction of cultural tourism destination, Maizhokunggar County has nurtured many rich cultural resources and colorful folk art.

Up to now, there are 46 items of intangible cultural heritages in Maizhokunggar County. Among them, there are 5 items at national level, 4 items at autonomous region level, 11 items at municipal level and 26 items at county level.
