The annual China Tibet Yarlung Cultural Festival is a grand festival for people in Shannan. In recent years, through holding the festival together with  pairing-assistance provinces including Hubei, Hunan, and Anhui, cultural and economic exchanges between Shannan and the three provinces are deepened, and the win-win cooperation in tourism, economy, trade and commerce is realized.
