Tibet’s ethnic handicraft industry makes great progress

In recent years, the traditional ethnic handicraft industry in China's Tibet Autonomous Region has made great progress in craft inheritance, goods production, enterprise development, talent training and other aspects, presenting a good development trend of rich categories, prominent regional characteristics and steady improvement of industry benefits. As one of the three traditional labor-intensive industries in Tibet, the ethnic handicraft industry plays an increasingly important role in meeting the production and living needs of farmers and herdsmen, expanding employment channels, protecting ethnic culture, and promoting economic and social development.
