The murals in the Potala Palace, although damaged to some extent due to the expansion and cracking of the plaster, they still retain their vibrant colors after many years. This is mainly attributed to the unique mineral pigments, which apply precious materials such as natural ores, gold foil, and gold powder, to make the color vivid and long-lasting.
