Basum Tso Lake, also known as Tsogo Lake, sits at an elevation of 3,480 meters in Nyingchi City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. In spring, the lake's sapphire-blue waters contrast beautifully with the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Visitors can stroll around the lake’s central island, explore ancient temples, or hike along the Xincuo, immersing themselves in the picturesque lake and mountain scenery.
