The pottery-making craftsmanship in Pongkang Village, Paggor Town, Nyemo County, China's Xizang Autonomous Region, boasts a long history. Using special local clay, the pottery undergoes a series of steps -- pounding, shaping, sun-drying, firing, and lacquering. Each Pongkang pottery jar, brimming with the artisans' heartfelt dedication, is brought to life through these steps. In recent years, traditional Tibetan handicraft skills, including pottery-making, have been effectively preserved and protected by the People's Government of Xizang Autonomous Region in China.
