The Jomda Bolo Guze Woodblock Printing is a traditional block-printing technique of China's Xizang, and a national-level intangible cultural heritage. In 1676, the 12th Derge Chieftain, Chökyi Tenpé Tsering, promoted block-printing in Bolo Town, Jomda County, Qamdo City. More than 80% of the printing blocks in the renowned Derge Parkhang (Derge Scripture Printing House) are crafted by the artisans of Bolo Town.
