In Qonggyai County, Shannan City, China's Xizang Autonomous Region, 64-year-old Dawa Tsering has been running a crystal and jade workshop for four decades. He has witnessed the evolution of Qonggyai's crystal craftsmanship -- from manual production to electrical processing, from rough and rustic to meticulously polished, and from traditional styles to personalized customization. Moreover, he has borne witness to the profound changes that have unfolded on this land over the past sixty years.
