In Zhaza Village, Comai County, Xizang Autonomous Region, the Zhaza attire adorned with "reversible patterned pulu" was officially included in China's National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2008. In 2015, the inheritors, Ngawang Tendar and his wife Pema Dekyi, proactively took on apprentices to impart the craft. So far, there are 15 apprentices learning this traditional skill. Meanwhile, the model of "intangible cultural heritage + tourism" has taken off, drawing an increasing number of tourists eager to experience it. Consequently, the village's collective economy is flourishing. In 2024, the income of the craft-teaching exceeded 500,000 yuan.
